The Tinmar Foundation continues to expand its “Education for the Future” programme, the organisation’s largest and longest-running educational initiative, further strengthening its commitment to academic excellence and equal opportunities in education.

During the current academic year, the programme is being implemented in Sector 4 of Bucharest, where 320 students with outstanding academic records, each having achieved an overall grade average above 9.50, are receiving merit scholarships awarded through the Tinmar Foundation.

Education is the main strategic pillar of the Tinmar Foundation’s activities, and the “Education for the Future” programme demonstrates year after year the positive impact of investing in academic achievement and the potential of younger generations. Since its launch, the initiative has supported the educational journeys of more than 7,000 students across Romania, providing scholarships and ongoing support for their development.

The total investment made through this programme has already exceeded EUR 2.8 million, highlighting the scale and impact of one of Romania’s most significant private initiatives dedicated to education.

In the coming period, the programme will be extended to additional communities, providing scholarships to deserving students in Sector 1 of Bucharest, Ilfov County, Bihor County and Teleorman County. This expansion will further contribute to building an educational ecosystem founded on merit, achievement and responsibility.

“For the Tinmar Foundation, education is not simply an area of social involvement; it is one of the most important investments we can make in Romania’s future. The ‘Education for the Future’ programme has become a national benchmark in supporting academic excellence, and we are proud to have already supported more than 7,000 scholarship recipients through investments exceeding EUR 2.8 million. The achievements of these young people confirm that excellence deserves consistent support, while expanding the programme into new counties and communities represents a natural continuation of this long-term commitment.” Ioan Bratu, President, Tinmar Foundation.

The partnership between the Tinmar Foundation and educational institutions helps create an environment that encourages academic achievement and provides students with the motivation they need to pursue their education at the highest standards.
