Christian Tour has announced its financial results for the first half of 2026, reporting 12 percent year-on-year growth in total revenue, to RON 184.7 million. EBITDA increased at a faster pace, rising by 24 percent to RON 9.8 million, resulting in an EBITDA margin of 5.3 percent, compared with 4.8 percent in H1 2025. Net profit reached RON 6.3 million, up 15 percent year-on-year.
Cristian Pandel, Founder and CEO of Christian Tour, said: “Our first results as a listed company demonstrate the strength of the Christian Tour business model and, above all, our team’s ability to deliver results in a demanding environment. Despite inflationary pressures, geopolitical uncertainty and higher costs across the tourism industry, we achieved record bookings for the first half of the year, while EBITDA grew twice as fast as revenue.”
Bookings reached a record RON 460.1 million in H1 2026, representing an 8 percent increase compared with the same period last year. Average revenue per passenger rose by 18 percent to EUR 505. The higher average transaction value fully offset, and exceeded, the impact of lower passenger and booking volumes.
Tour packages remained Christian Tour’s largest business segment in H1 2026, generating RON 331.5 million in bookings, up 9 percent year-on-year and accounting for approximately 72 percent of total bookings.
“The first half of the year highlights one of the key strengths of our business model: we do not rely on a single tourism product category to drive growth. We saw increased demand for tours, exotic destinations and other higher-value experiences and, deliberately, we focused on improving profitability rather than volumes in lower-margin activities,” added Cristian Pandel.
Regarding its M&A strategy, Christian Tour is currently in active discussions with three potential acquisition targets, spanning both its core tourism business and complementary sectors. Management aims to complete its first transaction before the end of 2026, subject to the successful completion of the relevant transaction processes.
For the full year 2026, Christian Tour is targeting RON 1.042 billion in bookings, RON 843.0 million in IFRS revenue, EBITDA of RON 46.3 million, and net profit of RON 33.2 million.
