The British Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) announces the appointment of Felicia Alexandru as its new Executive Director. Effective 17 August 2026, Felicia Alexandru will lead the Chamber’s executive activities, implementing the strategic vision set by the Board of Directors and contributing to the development of initiatives dedicated to BRCC members and the wider British-Romanian business community.

The appointment comes at a time of continued growth in the economic relationship between the two countries. Bilateral trade in goods and services reached £10.4 billion in the four quarters ending March 2026, an increase of 5.6% compared with the previous year, according to the latest data from the UK Department for Business and Trade.

In her new role, Felicia Alexandru’s priorities will include strengthening dialogue between BRCC members, institutions and public authorities; developing the Chamber’s programme of events and initiatives; and facilitating new opportunities for business cooperation, investment and commercial growth across the Romanian and UK markets.
