    Antibiotice Iași reports 10.3 percent decline in net turnover and 73.8 percent drop in net profit in H1 2026

    Antibiotice Iași recorded net turnover of RON 299.13 million as of June 30, 2026, down by RON 34.61 million, or 10.3 percent, from RON 333.74 million in the first half of 2025, according to a report submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).

    The pharmaceutical manufacturer also reported net profit of RON 15.4 million, representing a 73.8 percent decline compared with the same period last year.

    Net turnover was generated from the sales of finished products manufactured at the company’s own and partner sites, as well as active pharmaceutical ingredients.

    In terms of product sales, finished products manufactured at Antibiotice’s own sites accounted for 83.5 percent of total turnover, generating RON 249.12 million, down 2.7 percent from RON 255.97 million in the first half of 2025.

    Products manufactured at partner sites accounted for the remaining 16.5 percent, with sales of RON 49.36 million, down 35.5 percent from RON 76.50 million in the same period last year.

    Operating revenue stood at RON 330.19 million at the end of June 2026, down 10.8 percent from RON 370.20 million a year earlier.

    Meanwhile, operating expenses increased by 1.5 percent to RON 299.39 million, compared with RON 295.06 million in the first half of 2025.

    As a result, the company posted an operating result of RON 30.80 million, 59 percent below the RON 75.14 million recorded at the end of the first half of 2025.

    Antibiotice Iași’s earnings per share (EPS) also fell by 73.8 percent, to RON 0.0231 per share, from RON 0.0881 per share in the same period last year, reflecting the significant decline in the company’s net profitability.
