Domeniile Davidescu, a premium winery with production facilities in the Republic of Moldova and a strong presence on the Romanian market, announces sales growth of over 28 percent in 2025. Estimated turnover is approximately RON 17.3 million, up from RON 13.8 million in 2024. This evolution was driven by the expansion of retail distribution, the acceleration of the HoReCa channel, and the launch of new products, against a difficult economic and fiscal backdrop for the wine industry.
The 2025 results confirm the company’s upward trajectory, having grown more than sixfold over the past six years, from RON 2.8 million in 2019, its first year operating on the Romanian market.
Domeniile Davidescu strengthened its position through a development strategy focused on expanding distribution and reinforcing the brand. Expanding its retail presence was one of the key growth drivers, with the company entering new chains and strengthening existing partnerships, reaching coverage in over 3,000 stores nationwide.
Another important growth driver was the expansion of the portfolio. In 2025, the company launched the DIVIN range, a new product segment featuring brandies aged for 7, 10, and 20 years.
“The 28% growth recorded in 2025 comes in a challenging market context for the entire industry, which makes it more valuable. We entered new retail chains, accelerated our development in HoReCa, and launched the DIVIN range, which received strong consumer feedback. Our approach — bringing international expertise in service of an exceptional local terroir — continues to deliver results both in international competitions and in business performance,” said Andrian Davidescu, CEO of Domeniile Davidescu.
