Neakaisa.ro reports over 7.7 million euros in revenue, up 7 percent in 2025

Neakaisa.ro, a Romanian online retailer specializing in sanitary ware and home improvement products, closed 2025 with revenues of 7.75 million euros, marking a 7 percent increase compared to 2024. For the current year, the company estimates growth of approximately 20 percent, supported by international expansion and the listing of its private-label Rune products across national distributor networks.

The main growth driver for the online sanitary ware business in 2025 was the consolidation of its product portfolio, along with continued investments in customer experience. The company’s proprietary brand, Rune, gained significant traction, posting a 110 percent year-over-year increase and generating approximately 6 percent of total revenue.

The company’s physical showroom in Bucharest also became an important growth pillar. Extended weekday hours and the introduction of Saturday operations doubled the number of customers advised in the showroom.

“2025 was a year of consolidation and sustainable development. We noticed a maturing market and a clearer customer preference for products that combine quality, design, and price. At the same time, we’re pleased to see an active community of architects forming around Neakaisa.ro, to receive constant positive feedback from end customers, and to have an extraordinary team alongside us,” said Laura Sardescu, Co-founder and CEO of Neakaisa.ro.

For 2026, Neakaisa.ro forecasts revenue growth of approximately 20%, supported by expansion into two international markets planned for the second quarter. The company’s strategy focuses on transforming Neakaisa into a regional brand, emphasizing sustainable scaling and increased brand awareness.

The company is also strengthening its management structure by appointing Radu Bălăceanu as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Bălăceanu brings over 15 years of leadership and management experience in both multinational corporations and entrepreneurial businesses. He previously contributed to scaling Foodpanda Romania and expanding LifeBox to international operations, combining strategic clarity with operational execution.

“Our collaboration with Radu began several years ago, at a time when our business vision was complemented by his ability to translate it into clear structures and systems. We have consistently valued his strategic thinking and his ability to turn ideas into functional processes, both internally with the team and externally with partners and customers. Continuing and expanding our partnership is therefore a natural step, built on effective collaboration and positive momentum,” added Sardescu.

The appointment comes at a key moment for the company, which is entering an accelerated phase of scaling and internationalization.

“Returning to the Neakaisa.ro team in a new role feels like a natural step after a long-standing collaboration built on trust and shared vision. My role will be to support internal alignment, execute strategic projects, and develop scalable operational systems, including launching Neakaisa.ro in new international markets. I believe we have the right context, team, and resources to take the business into its next stage of development,” said Radu Bălăceanu, COO of Neakaisa.ro.
