Allianz-Țiriac Asigurări continued its positive performance in the first nine months of 2025, reporting growth across its main business lines, higher profitability compared to the same period last year, and a solid financial position.

By the end of September 2025, Allianz-Țiriac Asigurări’s total sales volume reached approximately RON 2.8 billion, up 4% year-on-year, while net profit exceeded RON 364 million. Sales growth was driven by motor insurance (+3.4%), traditional life insurance (+12.2%), property insurance (+6.5%), and other non-motor general insurance lines (+23.9%).

Total gross claims expenses recorded by Allianz-Țiriac Asigurări exceeded RON 2 billion in the first nine months of 2025, representing an increase of 7.6% compared to the same period in 2024.

“The results for the first nine months of this year confirm our ability to contribute to the financial security of Romanians and the solid direction in which Allianz-Țiriac is evolving. The fact that more than RON 1.2 billion was returned to customers in the form of claims payments highlights our essential role in critical moments, when people need real, fast, and fair support. At the same time, we are seeing a clear maturation of the market and growing interest in protection, which allows us to build a balanced and resilient portfolio. Allianz-Țiriac is currently in a consolidation phase, reflected in strong capital, robust products, predictable processes, and efficient services. In this context, we expect a healthy growth rate of around 5–7% per year, a sustainable pace based on quality and trust,” said Virgil Șoncutean, CEO of Allianz-Țiriac Asigurări.

Allianz-Țiriac Asigurări closed the first nine months of 2025 with over RON 6.2 billion in technical reserves and a solvency ratio of 136%, in line with Solvency II requirements.

In 2025, Allianz-Țiriac Asigurări paid record claims for insured homes, amid increasingly frequent and severe risks. The largest claim on the home insurance segment amounted to RON 912,000, 66% higher than the largest claim paid in 2024, and was granted to a family in Suceava following devastating floods in northern Romania, the area most affected by extreme weather events this year. The total value of flood-related damages covered by Allianz-Țiriac in northern Romania reached RON 2 million.

At the same time, the company paid significant claims following the explosion in the Rahova area of Bucharest, where nine apartments in the affected building were covered by optional insurance policies with Allianz-Țiriac. Total compensation paid so far to the affected families exceeds RON 1.8 million.

Property insurance within Allianz-Țiriac’s portfolio increased by 6.5% in the first nine months of 2025, reaching RON 292 million, supported by higher interest following devastating events. Such policies provide comprehensive protection for homes and complement the mandatory PAD insurance, which covers only earthquake, flood, and landslide risks. Overall, around 300,000 properties in Romania are protected by optional insurance policies from Allianz-Țiriac.
