A year and a half after its launch, Salt Bank has surpassed the threshold of 700,000 customers and is approaching 2 billion lei in assets. The bank currently has 429 employees, of whom 31% work in IT and 35% in business functions.

In 2025, Salt Bank launched a suite of financial management tools – Pay Bill, Automatic Saver, and Subscription Manager – helping customers pay bills quickly, save automatically, and manage all their subscriptions in one place.

Meanwhile, the personal loan has become one of the bank’s most popular products: over 10,000 loans have been granted so far, with an average value of 35,000 lei and a disbursement speed of just 2 minutes and 21 seconds from application to cash-in.

Towards the end of the year, the bank expanded its investment product, offering access to international stocks and ETFs starting from just 1 euro. So far, more than 30,000 trades have been placed through Salt, the largest amounting to 450,000 lei, and the average portfolio value has reached 5,300 lei per client.

Customers use the bank both for everyday spending – such as supermarket, metro, or ride-sharing transactions – and for passions ranging from gaming to exotic travel.
