M Core inaugurates M Park Orăștie, a newly completed retail park in Romania. Located on a 23,000 sqm land plot, the project delivers a built area of approximately 5,500 sqm. It comprises modern, single-level retail units designed to modern technical and operational standards.

M Park Orăștie hosts a mix of well-established brands across fashion, homeware, electronics and everyday essentials.

Sebastian Macdonald-Hall, Co-CEO Romania and Chief Investment Officer (Europe), M Core said: M Park Orăștie is another strong example of how we are building a resilient, long-term retail platform across Romania. The fundamentals in this market remain compelling and our strategy is to invest in places where we see sustained demand, committed occupiers and room for smart growth. This opening reflects the momentum across our portfolio and our confidence in the role convenience-led retail continues to play for communities and brands alike.”

James Fife, Co-CEO M Core Romania added: Orăștie is a well-established commercial location with a loyal catchment and strong tenant interest, which made it a natural next step in our regional expansion. We are focused on delivering schemes that work operationally for retailers and serve the day-to-day needs of local residents. The early response from the market has been positive and we expect this asset to perform well as part of our growing Romanian portfolio.

Clemens Petschnikar, CEO of Square 7, part of M Core stated: “The completion of M Park Orăștie reflects our commitment to consolidating a sustainable retail platform across Romania. This project reinforces our long-term investment approach, focused on operational excellence, resilient locations and assets that consistently deliver value to both tenants and local communities.”
