Cargus continues to invest in the development of its parcel pick-up and drop-off network, located close to customers’ addresses, and announces its expansion through a partnership with the Agroland retail chain, Romania’s largest retailer for farmers, with 110 company-owned shops and over 130 franchise locations nationwide.
The first 100 new Cargus SHIP & GO points within the Agroland network will be operational by the end of this year, with 22 locations already functional.
“The partnership with Agroland enables us to expand the Cargus SHIP & GO network and to be closer to more and more customers, right where they already shop. We want to offer them convenient pick-up and delivery options in familiar and accessible places that are part of their daily lives. This way, customers save time and gain greater flexibility in how they collect or send parcels, while we continue to build a modern courier model tailored to their real needs”, said Anda Bucșan, Chief Customer Officer at Cargus.
“The partnership with Cargus helps us to be even closer to our customers, offering them the possibility to send and receive parcels directly from Agroland stores. It is an initiative through which we want to make their lives easier, bringing together the products and services they need in one place”, said Horia Cardoș, CEO of Agroland.
Parcels delivered by Cargus to SHIP & GO points in the Agroland network can be collected directly from the checkouts, which also serve as drop-off points for outgoing parcels.
