evomag is diversifying its delivery options by introducing same-day delivery service, available for orders in Bucharest and Ilfov. The move is part of a broader strategy to optimize the post-order experience and comes as a direct response to the growing demand from customers for reduced delivery times and solutions adapted to their lifestyle.
“We are observing a clear trend among our customers: the desire to receive products as quickly as possible, but also under optimal cost and delivery predictability conditions. Same-day delivery is a concrete response to this demand, designed to bring maximum flexibility and to cover situations in which waiting time is a decisive factor in completing the order,” says Mihai Pătrașcu, CEO of evomag.
Through this new option, carried out in partnership with a dedicated courier who prioritizes evomag orders, the company can deliver on the same day, in addition to small and light products, also larger items weighing up to 30 kg. The service is available for products marked on the site, and the processing time slots are designed for maximum efficiency: orders placed between 00:00 and 13:00 are delivered on the same day, by 18:00, and those placed between 13:01 and 00:00 reach the customer the next day, by 18:00.
Delivery is available from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 19:00, with a fixed cost of 30.99 lei, displayed in shopping cart. Payment can be made online with a card or in installments, and the return policy is the same as for any other order – 14 days.
The service is available throughout Bucharest and in the localities of Ilfov: Dudu, Chiajna, Roșu, Pipera, Voluntari, Fundeni, Dobroești, Pantelimon and Popești-Leordeni. The choice of these areas was made based on the density of orders and the proximity to the company’s logistics hubs, so as to ensure delivery within a few hours of placing the order.
According to evomag data, deliveries via “instant delivery” platforms (Glovo, Bringo, Wolt) already represent almost 5% of the company’s total orders, which indicates a significant interest of customers for services with very short delivery times. Currently, 90% of the company’s orders are delivered the next day, and the rest reach the customer within 72 hours at most.
Deliveries via easybox represent approximately 35% of the total, confirming customers’ preference for flexible and autonomous solutions.
In the case of same-day deliveries, the average order value is currently around 200 lei, with most of the products purchased being of immediate necessity – consumables, accessories, headphones, toys – to which larger products are now added, such as televisions, mobile phones, smartwatches, etc.
