    VLP supports Turkish group Ulusoy in expanding into Romania’s renewable energy market

    Vlasceanu & Partners (VLP) advised Turkish energy conglomerate Ulusoy Group, on entering the Romanian renewable energy market with the acquisition of a 20 MW ready-to-build solar project in Dâmbovița County.

    The VLP team of Managing Associate Dan Oltean and Senior Associate Laura Lupu, supervised by Partner Loredana Vlasceanu, provided comprehensive legal support throughout the transaction.

    VLP expertise spans renewable energy (RES) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, covering real estate and permitting, M&A transactions, EPC/O&M contracts, financing arrangements (including EU funding schemes and CfDs), power purchase agreements, and alternative electricity sales structures.
