Flavours Group, the market leader in event catering and the segment of premium restaurants located in prestigious office buildings and educational institutions, announces a significant increase in turnover and profitability for 2024, along with major investments to expand its network in 2025.
The year 2024 was an exceptional year for Flavours. The Group recorded a 21.7% year-on-year increase in turnover, exceeding initial estimates by 5.7%. Operating profit also doubled, reflecting a significant strengthening of the group’s financial performance. The company thus achieves the highest level of performance recorded in its 23 years of activity, a result that is due to an ambitious strategy based on investments in the expansion of the restaurant network and constant innovation across the entire brand portfolio, through the continuous exploration of new recipes and concepts aimed at offering consumers complete culinary experiences.
“Our financial results over the last year confirm what we have been building for 23 years: a group of clean brands that maintains its standards and constantly invests in what it offers, for a community increasingly aware that ‘you are what you eat’. The accelerated growth motivates us to carry this vision forward into 2025, with an experience that is hard to replicate and a real advantage over classic cafeteria solutions, both among prestigious private schools in Romania and companies that are becoming more and more attentive to making conscious choices, beyond price, for people. To all this we add premium catering services, tailored to the needs of every event, from corporate to lifestyle”, said Raluca Țeposu, founder of Flavours Group.
“We have built our reputation through a commitment to excellence, innovation and quality, and our results confirm our direction. We have succeeded in transforming event catering into a premium experience through Flavours, redefining corporate lunch standards through Stradale restaurants and bringing added value to private schools and kindergartens by offering healthy meals in a friendly environment. Looking to the future, we aim to constantly evolve, adapting to customer demands and exploring new opportunities for growth,” said Bogdan Tiu, CEO Flavours Group.
Team expansion and strategic investment of over €1.5 million in 2024
Following its long-term growth objectives, Flavours invested over €1 million last year in expanding its restaurant network in office buildings and educational institutions. Among the key projects implemented in 2024 is the partnership with Transylvania College to launch the first Stradale Carnivale restaurant in a school in Cluj-Napoca, with an investment from the group of €350,000. Other major projects in 2024 were the opening of new Stradale locations in the U-Center, Equilibrium buildings in Bucharest and Emerson in Cluj-Napoca, as well as the renovation of the Stradale restaurant and the opening of the Mitzu Café, both located in the Bucharest Business Park.
To support this accelerated growth, Flavours expanded its team to 400 employees in 2024, 27% more than in 2023, while also investing in their continuous development through dedicated monthly training sessions. This approach is part of the group’s long-term vision to build strong teams and real know-how at every customer touch point.
The year of customer-driven innovation and successful partnerships
The group’s solid results are also supported by its partnerships with large-scale events, a defining element in the company’s strategy, which year after year reinforces the visibility and prestige of its brands. Last year, Flavours contributed to two of the most important music events in Romania, providing catering services for over 1,000 people involved in the organization of the UNTOLD Festival in Cluj-Napoca and the Coldplay concert in Bucharest. At the same time, true to its mission to promote balanced nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, Flavours supported in 2024 important local sports tournaments, as part of its strategic collaboration with the Bucharest Municipal Sports Club and the Romanian Swimming and Modern Pentathlon Federation.
At the same time, concerned to constantly innovate in the field of dedicated customer services, Flavours launched Stradale Events, a full-service catering concept for corporate and private clients, appreciated for its balance between quality and affordability, and introduced the Stradale app, which not only reduces waiting time but also offers an attractive loyalty program, rewarding loyal customers.
In 2024, Flavours went through an extensive internal digitization process: it implemented and refined its own ERP, introduced electronic time clocking and streamlined operational workflows across all company structures. In parallel, the group continued concrete sustainability initiatives, with a focus on reducing food waste and resource efficiency.
Strategic expansion to 2025 and map of ongoing investments
In 2025, Flavours Group is focusing on optimizing the performance of the Stradale Lunch Society network of locations, expanding the Stradale Inside segment, dedicated to companies, and developing the Stradale Carnivale concept, focused on healthy eating for children, in as many educational institutions as possible.
In fact, investments in development started in the first quarter of this year, with the opening of the first Stradale SnackAttack restaurant in the Europe House building in Bucharest. For the launch of this location, which proposes a new Asian concept, adapted to consumers in high traffic areas and shopping centers, Flavours Group has allocated an investment of 150,000 euro.
By the end of the year, Flavours continues its expansion with seven new projects, including one dedicated to the organization of events under the Flavours brand, two new Stradale SnackAttack locations, as well as two other projects dedicated to the educational segment in Bucharest and Cluj. Also in 2025, Stradale is expanding its presence in the corporate area with two Stradale Inside locations, developed specifically for office spaces.
The strategic expansion plan, together with the planned investments, will contribute to an estimated 25% increase in turnover for Flavours Group in 2025 compared to 2024.
