Distribuție Energie Electrică Romania, Brăila branch, has completed the investment work “Modernization and integration into SCADA of the 110/20 kV Lunca station, Brăila county”.
The main objectives of the investment, totaling over 12 million lei, made from own sources, aimed to increase the quality of the distribution service by reducing the number of accidental interruptions and the duration of restoring the energy supply, by ensuring the optimal operating parameters of the networks.
The modernization of the transformer station was achieved by:
- Replacing the 110 kV measuring transformers (two voltage transformers and six current transformers, respectively the monopolar earthing separators of the 110 kV lines (two pieces), with new ones, mounted on metal supports;
- Replacing the 110 kV neutral arresters, respectively the Trafo neutral separators (two pieces), with new ones, mounted on metal supports;
- Modernizing internal service groups and neutral creation, fully equipped (two transformers, two extinguishing coils and two neutral separators with the associated arresters, mounted in new foundations;
- Replacing the 20 kV cells with new, modern ones, with numerical protections;
- Complete replacement of all medium voltage cables (20 kV feeders from the station to the first pole);
- Equipping the station with a command-control and protection system, coordinated with equipment in digital technology, with microprocessor;
- Making all connections and integrating into SCADA;
- Modernizing the Telecommunications cabinet;
- Creating five cabinets for own services;
- Replacing the accumulator battery;
- Replacing the control panels with four new cabinets, fully equipped with digital relays;
- Installing two analyzers for the quality of electricity;
- Replacing all secondary circuits with metallic protection and with fire delay;
- Modernizing the interior, exterior, safety lighting installations and installing a perimeter lighting installation;
- Replacing the 20 kV cables from TSI and installing 20 kV cables at the Power Transformer;
- Creating new cable channels for external secondary circuits;
The investment represents a firm commitment of the company to improving the quality of distribution services and ensuring a safe, efficient and sustainable energy system.
