Symmetrica, the leader in the local market for vibropressed pavers and curbs, announces the completion of its second factory in the Doaga industrial center, Vrancea County, after a total investment of 15 million euros.
The new unit, built on the infrastructure acquired from Somaco Holding, transforms an unexploited industrial space into a modern production hub, with four halls and a delivery capacity of approximately 50 product trucks per day.
“The takeover, modernization and re-engineering of the factory acquired from Somaco Holding was a strategic step for Symmetrica. We expanded production capacity, created new jobs and revitalized the industrial tradition of the area. It is proof that long-term investments can generate real economic and social impact for the community,” said Sebastian Bobu, Symmetrica Executive Director.
With an area of 30 hectares, the Doaga industrial center becomes the largest production platform in Symmetrica’s portfolio. The two factories – Doaga 1 (inaugurated in 2018) and Doaga 2 (operational from 2025) – integrate four production halls and a storage hall, ensuring a daily capacity of 500 cubic meters of products intended for infrastructure projects carried out at national level.
The new unit will generate 50 new jobs, raising the total number of employees in the Doaga center to 130 and offering professional development opportunities in an area with significant industrial potential.
