Tinmar Foundation continues its educational mission in Prahova County: 1835 scholarships for deserving students (P)

The Tinmar Foundation is pleased to announce the continuation of the “Education for the Future – Tinmar Foundation Scholarships” program and the awarding of an impressive number of 1835 merit scholarships for high school students in Prahova County, in recognition of exceptional academic results.
Supporting education as an essential pillar in the development of a fair and prosperous society was the purpose of the event held today, June 4, 2025, in Ploiești, under the coordination of the Prahova County School Inspectorate, in partnership with the Tinmar Foundation.
Through the program “Education for the Future – Tinmar Foundation Scholarships”, 1835 students from Prahova, who simultaneously benefit from a merit scholarship and a social scholarship, will receive gift vouchers worth 1500 lei.
“Children’s education is one of the Tinmar Foundation’s social responsibility strategies, the project having an important impact on students from disadvantaged backgrounds. It supports them materially, motivates them to achieve performance, offers them the opportunity to continue their educational path with more confidence. We are honored to be partners of an organization that invests in young people, in order to offer real chances for a better future, ours, for everyone”, said General School Inspector Ilona Cornelia Rizea.
This stage in Prahova County comes in continuation of an educational approach started by the Tinmar Foundation in Bucharest and Gorj County, where over 2000 students have already benefited from support through the “Education for the Future” program.
In Gorj, over 1530 high school students with averages above 9.50 received merit scholarships worth 500 euros, in recognition of their performance and as a concrete form of financial support for low-income families. The project generated a real impact on the communities, contributing to reducing school dropout, increasing academic performance and encouraging the personal development of students. With the support of recognizable models for generation Z, such as Selly, and by strengthening strategic educational partnerships, the Tinmar Foundation aims to continuously expand this program at the national level.
By expanding the program, the Tinmar Foundation confirms the continuity and loyalty to the mission assumed: supporting education as an essential pillar in the development of a fair and prosperous society.
“We are proud to continue this program in Prahova County, where we are delighted to discover a vibrant community, with highly motivated students and dedicated teachers. These scholarships are more than financial support – they are an investment in our common future, proof that performance must be recognized and encouraged. We want to stay with these young people throughout their educational and professional journey,” said Filip Ovidiu, Vice President of the Tinmar Foundation.
The “Education for the Future” program was designed as a sustainable response to the real needs of the education system and students from vulnerable communities, offering not only recognition, but also motivation and hope. The goal is to reduce school dropout and youth migration; encouraging them to develop and actively contribute to the economy and life of the community they are part of.
The Tinmar Foundation reaffirms its long-term vision this time: to support young people to become local leaders, well-trained professionals and involved citizens.
This initiative is part of a national strategy to support education, which promotes equal access to learning opportunities for all students, regardless of their background. With each generation supported, the Tinmar Foundation contributes to building a Romania in which education is a real priority and a driver of positive change.
