Tchibo Brands Romania signs deal with Vastint for 1,130 sqm office in Business Garden Bucharest

    Published on

Vastint Romania has concluded a new lease agreement with Tchibo Brands Romania, which is relocating its headquarters to Business Garden Bucharest, Building A, 4th floor, occupying a space of 1,130 sqm.

“Considering that sustainability is an essential pillar of our identity, and our efforts in this direction have been repeatedly recognized through various distinctions, it gives us great pleasure to announce the move to a new space – Business Garden Bucharest. This office project fully complies with ESG criteria, reflecting our values. The new headquarters offers us the opportunity to expand our team and continue to deliver coffee experiences at the highest level to our consumers, in which tradition and joy are harmoniously intertwined”, said Marian Ene, General Manager Tchibo Brands Romania & Bulgaria.

The transaction was facilitated by Fortim Trusted Advisors, a member of the BNP Paribas Real Estate alliance.

“Tchibo, in the process of relocating its headquarters and consolidating its business with a new IT&C division, was looking for a state-of-the-art office building that would comply with ESG criteria and would have as many facilities as possible. Business Garden Bucharest meets all these conditions and, in addition, is owned by an experienced international developer, which also represents a guarantee. For this reason, the tenant signed a contract for a very long period”, says Nicolae Ciobanu, Managing Partner – Head of Advisory, Fortim Trusted Advisors, member of the BNP Paribas Real Estate alliance.

“We are pleased to see that our investments in green buildings are appreciated by the most important international players, active in all business areas, which is reflected in the very diversified portfolio of tenants we have attracted in the last year. Among the elements that contribute to the attractiveness of our projects is the extensive range of activities, services and facilities dedicated to employees – from sports fields and recurring internal events, to an in-house radio station and an interesting mix of retailers”, said Sorin Macoveiu (photo), Commercial Director of Vastint Romania.

Vastint’s office portfolio will expand with the upcoming Timpuri Noi Square 2 project, set for completion in Q4 2026. This development, currently one of the few office projects under construction in Bucharest, will add 105,000 sqm of gross built area (GBA) and introduce two new office buildings, effectively doubling the available office and retail space within the Timpuri Noi Square complex.
