Garanti BBVA Leasing, part of Garanti BBVA Group Romania, has entered into a new finance agreement with the European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE). The 10 million euros loan is aimed at supporting the financing needs of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Romania.

This is the seventh loan agreement that Garanti BBVA Leasing has concluded with EFSE in 10 years of partnership, for the financing of MSMEs, reaching a total financing amount of 74 million euros, contributing to investments in the local economy.

“We are proud to further enhance our collaboration with EFSE, through this new financing agreement, which reflects the mutual trust and strong partnership we have cultivated over the years. This funding underscores our shared dedication to supporting Romania’s economic growth, by empowering micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. It enables us to continue offering tailored leasing solutions that address the specific needs of MSMEs, helping them access essential resources, expand their businesses, and drive the country’s economic development,” said Okan Yurtsever, General Manager of Garanti BBVA Leasing.

“Our collaboration with Garanti BBVA Leasing enables EFSE to support Romanian MSMEs in securing the tailored leasing solutions they need to invest in modern equipment and expand their operations,” said Jasminka Begert, Fund Director of EFSE at Finance in Motion. “This financing is a direct investment in the competitiveness and long-term growth of local businesses.”
