Carrefour Romania has announced a strategic appointment to its board. Effective from July 1st, Alina Gamauf, current Member of the Executive Board at Carrefour Romania, responsible for Human Resources, Corporate Affairs, and CSR, will now assume leadership of the Expansion and Property departments, further broadening her role within the organization.

Working alongside her new team members, Mihai Tomescu, as the Hypermarket Expansion Director, and Bogdan Jigman, as the Property & Expansion Director for Market, Express, Supeco, Headquarters, and Logistics Centers, Alina Gamauf will oversee the management of Carrefour Romania’s real estate assets.

“I embark on this new challenge with gratitude, appreciating the trust upon me by both the national and international teams. I would also like to express my appreciation to my colleagues, Mihai and Bogdan, for their exceptional contributions to the Expansion & Property divisions. Moving forward, our collective focus will be on Carrefour Romania’s strategic objective of reaching a wide spectrum of customers by offering a diverse range of predominantly local products. As we evolve from traditional brick-and-mortar retail to a modern shopping experience, we will integrate digital solutions and innovative services. Over the past 22 years, we have achieved this through an interconnected retail network, consisting of over 400 multi-format stores,” said Alina Gamauf, Member of the Executive Board of Carrefour Romania.
