    Published on

The Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) joins, between October 25 and 31, 2021, for the fifth consecutive year, the projects initiated by IOSCO (International Organization of Securities Commissions) to celebrate in Romania “World Investor Week” (WIW).

This concept was launched by IOSCO to raise public awareness of the need for financial education, in the context of a changing financial market and increasingly risk-based behavior.

ASF’s active contribution to WIW 2021 is the organization of educational events, the development and launch of new information materials for the general public to raise awareness of the importance of acquiring capital-specific financial concepts.

Due to the situation generated by the COVID-19 pandemic and the recommendations of social distancing, as well as due to the restrictions imposed by the authorities, the events will be held online.

WIW week is opened by ASF and the Bucharest Stock Exchange, with the participation of several high school students, who will ring the opening bell of the trading session and who will participate in an interactive online seminar.
