    Irina Ionescu is the new general manager of Green Point Management

    Irina Ionescu takes over, starting with September 1, the role of General Manager of GreenPoint Management, an organization that implements the extended producer responsibility (OIREP), and will be actively involved in the future development of companies in the same Group.

    Irina Ionescu has held, for 18 years, various management positions within the companies Coca-Cola Romania and Coca-Cola HBC Romania, having an important contribution in their development in Romania, as well as in other countries in the Balkans and Adriatic region.

    “In recent years, we have had as a priority investment in the development of an integrated group of companies that aims to be the spearhead of the waste management industry in Romania. Our success is based on a dynamic and ambitious team, which operates to the highest standards to meet the demands of our customers and partners. That is why we are happy with the arrival of Irina Ionescu as General Manager of GreenPoint Management, and, at the same time, member of the board at Group level. Irina is a leader who has already offered a lot to our industry and will enrich the entire organization, not only through her professional experience, but also through the human quality to be appreciated,” said Adela Lazăr, President of GreenPoint Management.

    “Sustainability has been the basis of many programs that I have initiated and developed throughout my career. All the more so in recent years, when my efforts have increasingly focused on the area of ​​protecting communities and the environment, as well as the area of ​​proper packaging waste management. In this context, the new role I have assumed is a natural evolution of my professional career. I am extremely excited about this new beginning and I wish that, together with the teams of professionals within this Group, we continue to perform in this field in Romania,” said Irina Ionescu, General Manager of GreenPoint Management.
