Hidroelectrica lowers price of active energy for household consumers starting January 2021

    Published on

Hidroelectrica announces new energy offer for household consumers, starting January 1, 2021. The company proposes more ‘advantageous conditions’ for the supply of electricity, translated by a decrease in prices, with the liberalization of the energy market. Thus, for the active energy delivered to household consumers starting with January 1, 2021, the price will be reduced from 0.255 RON/ kWh, to 0.245 RON / kWh in the first semester of next year. Customers are guaranteed that the prices are fixed and still benefit from relaxed payment terms – 45 days from the issuance of the invoice.

”We offer green energy, which we can supply in any location in Romania, and the process of choosing Hidroelectrica services is simple and does not involve power interruptions We rely on fairness in the relationship with our customers, and the contract we put on the table has no additional costs or hidden clauses. In addition, the communication with the company and the transmission of documents can be done online,” said Bogdan Badea, president of the Hidroelectrica Board of Directors.

The action is due to the company’s strategy to increase the number of customers in the supply area with the complete liberalization of the energy market.

Hidroelectrica is the largest Romanian electricity producer and the main provider of technological services required in the National Energy System. The company has in operation a number of 209 hydroelectric power plants, with an installed capacity totaling 6,482 MW.

The company’s strategic plans include diversifying the production portfolio to the area of green energy and adjacent services: establishment / acquisition of onshore and offshore wind farms, photovoltaics, hydrogen production, development of a network of electric car charging stations.
