    Hidroelectrica modernized the 110kV substation within CHE Bradisor

    Hidroelectrica has finalized the modernization works for the 110kV substation that serves CHE Bradisor, following 5.4 million RON investment, a release shows.

    The 110kV CHE Bradisor substation is an outdoor station, connecting to SEN, located on the platform next to CHE Bradisor.

    “This year we put a special emphasis on carrying out modernization and refurbishment works, and this will be reflected in increasing the operational safety of the objectives we have in our portfolio. Securing what we already have is a vital step in Hidroelectrica’s investments, as we have stated on other occasions. We want to make sure that our objectives have a high degree of availability and are able to respond without problems to any requests of SEN,” said Bogdan Badea, President of Hidroelectrica Board.

    Hidroelectrica is a leader in electricity production and the main provider of technological services required in the National Energy System and is a vital company for a strategic sector, with implications for national security. Hidroelectrica has in operation a number of 209 hydroelectric power plants with an installed capacity totaling 6,482 MW
