    Hidroelectrica has refurbished the 110kV Jidoaia substation following 2 million RON investment, a press release shows.

    “Hidroelectrica has made important progress this year in terms of upgrading its objectives. There are works that have been carried out at a sustained pace. This week we put into operation the 110kV substation Jidoaia – which thus enters a new life cycle, soon we will complete the works and put into operation the 110kV substations in CHE Bradișor (SH Rm. Valcea), the 110kV substation for the substation de Pompe Lotru Aval, the stations from CHE Olt Superior (CHE Avrig, CHE Scoreiu, CHE Arpașu, CHE Viştea and CHE Voila). We will also complete the refurbishment of the 110kV substations from CHE Clăbucet and CHE Oești,” said Bogdan Badea, President of Hidroelectrica.

    Hidroelectrica is the largest producer of green energy in Romania and the main provider of technological services required in the National Energy System, being a vital company for a strategic sector, with implications for national security. The company operates a number of 209 plants, with a total installed capacity of 6,482 MW.
