Jan Brockmann will join the Bosch Group on 1 November 2020 and will take over as Chairman of the Bosch Thermotechnology Division (2019: revenues of EUR 3.6 billion; approx. 14,500 associates) on 1 January 2021. Brockmann is currently Chief Operations and Technology Officer of AB Electrolux, Stockholm, Sweden. He will succeed Uwe Glock, who will change to the Supervisory Board of Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH on 1 January 2021 and will continue to serve as President of the Federation of the German Heating Industry (BDH).

“Jan Brockmann is an internationally experienced manager who will contribute his proven technological and industry expertise to our company. I am very pleased about his move to Bosch. He will push ahead with our strategy for systems and solutions for defossilization and digitalization in the building sector,” said Christian Fischer, member of the Bosch Board of Management and responsible for the Energy and Building Technology business sector.

“I look forward to working with the Bosch Thermotechnology team to further develop the customer experience of heat and comfort through innovative and sustainable product and service solutions, and thus to leading the company and its strong brands to continued successful growth,” said Jan Brockmann. The graduate engineer joined Electrolux in 2010. He has since gained experience in the management of product and service oriented, global multi-brand businesses – especially also thermal systems – in both the consumer goods and automotive industries.

Bosch Thermotechnology offers its customers throughout the world solutions for their room climate, domestic hot water and decentralised energy management requirements – highly efficient technologies which also in many cases use renewable energies and make a significant contribution to implementing the energy transition.
