Petre Stroe, MET Romania: “Investments represent the future”

    Published on

“The pandemic showed us if and how quickly we made decisions. In this context, there have been many discussions about digitalization, but not many have started such processes within companies. We started in the last quarter of 2019, we implemented several modules until the beginning of the pandemic. The efforts made have paid off, by the end of the year we will implement all 11 modules on digitization that will allow us to focus on what a supplier needs to do,” Petre Stroe, CEO Met Romania said during the Energy CEO Forum 2020, organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.

“We have successfully overcome the beginning of the pandemic, following joint efforts of our teams. For the first time, the authorities have spoken clearly about the investments that the energy sector has been mentioning for many years. It is an investment effort undertaken by state-owned companies, in which private companies must also participate,” he explained.

“Investments in systems, in production capacities must be made, they are necessary. We do not live in the past, we are constantly preparing for the future. Investments represent the future.”
