“The entire Romanian society is affected by this virus. And our company had to adopt special measures during this period. The production of electricity from nuclear sources cannot be interrupted and we have not had any problems in any day. We have taken exceptional measures. Hundreds of employees were accommodated on the plant’s campus and I thank the employees for their hard work and dedication,” Iulian Tudorache, president, Board of Directors of Nuclearelectrica said during the Energy CEO Forum 2020, organized by The Diplomat-Bucharest.

“On the investment side, we did not have any special problems, they took place according to plan. Only certain parts related to maintenance have been rescheduled. The activity proceeds normally, we have a very elaborate plan of measures by the end of the year and I hope to overcome this big challenge,” he concluded.
