    Transgaz net profit reached 201 million RON, up 5 percent in Q1

    Romanian state-controlled gas transport system operator Transgaz has reported a net profit of 201 million RON in Q1, 5 percent higher compared to the same period in 2019.

    Operating revenue before the balancing and construction activity increased by 8 percent as compared to Q1 2019, which is higher by 39 million RON.

    Operating costs before the balancing and construction activity increased by 6 percent as compared to Q1 2019, which is higher by 16 million RON. The company made savings of 17 million RON.

    The capital expenditure achieved at 31 March 2020 amounted to 391 million RON. Investment amounting to 379 million RON were commissioned in the analysed period.
