GE Healthcare installs CT scanner at the County Emergency Clinical Hospital in Timisoara

    Published on

The Emergency County Clinical Hospital in Timisoara acquired from GE Healthcare a CT scanner which addresses a wide range of patients and pathologies. The equipment can identify lung lesions specific to SARS-CVO2 infection in the case of patients presenting to the medical unit to receive specialized help.

The CT equipment will be accompanied by a modular construction so that it can be used to screen patients suspected of being infected with the SARS-CVO2 virus, without the need for patients to enter the areas of the health unit before having a clear diagnosis. It will be located in the immediate vicinity of the Emergency Reception Unit of the County Hospital.

The acquisition includes the arrangement and furnishing of the modular structure in accordance with the legislation in force and a full-service warranty with spare parts, for a period of 2 years.
