    Transelectrica completes first stage of Ungheni station refurbishment, starts second phase of the investment

    Transelectrica has completed the first stage of the project for the refurbishment of the 110 kV Ungheni station, and has already started the works related to the second stage.

    The refurbishment of the entire Electric Transformation Station 220/110/20 kV Ungheni will lead to increased safety in serving the users of the electric network. In addition, the modernization creates the premises for the reduction of maintenance costs, the modernization and the remote diagnosis of all the equipment.

    The refurbishment works of the Electric Transformation Station 220/110/20 kV Ungheni, worth 42.5 million RON, are carried out in three stages of execution and started at the beginning of 2019, to be completed at the end of 2022.
