Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) donates 2.5 million RON to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The money is already earmarked for local hospitals, communities and NGOs involved in the procurement and collection of sanitary materials, the support of vulnerable people – especially the elderly and helpless – in education on prevention and protection of people, but also on efforts to ensure distance education.

“We are calling on the entire business community to offer their support, in efforts to combat the pandemic. Beyond figures and any kind of forecasts, we have a duty now, more than ever, to think about how we can contribute to the common good – even through small gestures, ideas and solutions for the community,” said Sergiu Manea, CEO BCR.
