    Agricover Credit IFN posted a profit of 40.1 million RON, up by 21 percent in 2019

    Agricover Credit IFN, the main non-banking financial institution dedicated to financing Romanian agriculture, recorded a net profit of 40.1 million RON last year, representing a growth of 21 percent compared to 2018.

    The value of loans granted in 2019 was 1.88 billion RON, while the number of active clients reached 3,434, up by 23 percent compared to 2018.

    “For 12 years we have been supporting Romanian agriculture efficiently and we have become the first choice of farmers when thinking about financing business. In 2019, we continued the sustainable growth by developing the portfolio of clients, small and medium farmers, and together with Agricover S.A. we developed new synergy products,” said Robert Rekkers, General Manager, Agricover Credit IFN.

    For 2020, Agricover Credit IFN intends to continue the growth strategy focused on optimizing the product portfolio with a special focus on sustainable agriculture and the development of new strategic partnerships.
