VTEX to invest four million USD in Romania for development over the next two years

    Published on

VTEX, one of the most important ecommerce platforms in the world, will invest four million USD for  development in Romania over the next two years. VTEX has allocated 1.5 million USD for investments this year and 2.5 million USD for 2021.

“This year’s investments will support the consolidation of existing projects in Romania and the creation of a strong local team, made up of only the best people in the field. We aim to build strong partnerships with agencies such as Zitec, with which we can become a leader in the country and then in the region. The objective is to accelerate the expansion and delivery of new projects for major retailers in local and regional eCommerce, whose growth we can support with our unified, scalable, secure and global trading platform,” says Cristi Movilă, Country Manager VTEX Romania.

The VTEX office in Romania will be the company’s expansion center in the region, in Central and Eastern Europe.
