    Dinu Bumbăcea rejoins PwC Romania as Partner and Advisory Leader

    PwC Romania has announced that Dinu Bumbăcea is rejoining the company in the position of Partner and Advisory Leader, as of 3 February.

    Dinu has over 27 years’ experience in professional services, with 19 years as a Partner. He started his career at PwC Romania, where he spent more than 18 years. He has held the position of Partner and Head of Department at other consulting companies for the last eight years.

    “I am pleased to announce the return of Dinu to PwC Romania, where he started and built his career. He is a recognised professional in the Romanian business environment, with solid experience in both consulting and managing large teams of specialists. I am convinced that Dinu will contribute to the development of PwC services, as well as our management team consolidation”, said Ionuț Simion, Country Managing Partner PwC Romania.

    During his career, Dinu has coordinated a wide range of consulting projects, both in Romania and in Central and Eastern Europe, in various industries, including financial services, energy, telecommunications, healthcare, public sector and private equity investment funds.

    “I am honored to be rejoining PwC Romania, the company in which I trained professionally. Together with the business consulting team, I will invest passion and time in developing and delivering innovative services to our clients, reinventing ourselves with them so that we can face the challenges of the Romanian business environment. We will also contribute to the wider community through an active involvement in society”, Dinu Bumbăcea said.

    Dinu is a graduate of the Bucharest Polytechnic Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering and a diploma in digital image processing from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a diploma in the same field from the Technical University Supélec in France.
