SmartBill reports 45% increase in turnover, profit exceeds one million RON in 2019

SmartBill, the first business software ecosystem in Romania, with the objective of process automation, data transfer, as well as the issuance of documents, announces an annual increase in turnover by almost 45%, while reporting a profit of over one million RON, compared to 2018.

The SmartBill business has grown 5 times in the last four years, being the leader of the financial-accounting solutions market in Romania, partly due to the significant growth of the client portfolio.

“For us, this evolution comes as a continuation of the natural course we have had in recent years. We are proud of the way we have grown and we want to continue offering innovative solutions that will improve the lives of entrepreneurs. These figures come as a confirmation of the fact that, together with my partners, Ioana and Mircea, we have managed to build a solid and efficient team, capable of providing top-level billing, management and accounting solutions. Also worth mentioning is the fact that we are still under construction, profit has not been a key indicator so far, but its importance will increase, and these data can only delight us,” said Radu Hasan, Co-Founder & CEO SmartBill .

In 2019, SmartBill went through a rebranding process, after which it repositioned itself as the first business software ecosystem in Romania. Specifically, it is a series of interconnected applications, at the heart of which is SmartBill: bank, e-commerce platforms, marketplace, couriers, accounting.

By 2020, the company’s associates expect an increase of about 40%, but also a maturation of existing products, a consolidation of the SmartBill ecosystem and, at the same time, of the team within the company.
