    Vodafone to sponsor tennis tournaments broadcasted by Eurosport in 2020

    Starting from 2020, Vodafone Romania is the sponsor of the Grand Slam tours and ATP Circuit broadcastings by Eurosport TV channels. With Australian Open as the first competition to kick off on January 20 and running until February 2, Vodafone and UPC customers will be able to watch all the mentioned tennis matches on Eurosport 1 and 2 channels, available in Vodafone TV and UPC grids.

    Moreover, starting January 15, all Discovery Group channels from UPC network (Discovery Channel, TLC, Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2, Animal Planet, Discovery Showcase, Discovery Science, DTX and Investigation Discovery) will be available in Vodafone TV grid.

    Vodafone subscribers will be able to watch all the tennis matches, anywhere, on their smartphone or tablet, through Vodafone TV service, from the famous Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon, US Open and ATP Circuit. In addition, sports lovers can watch the main world’s sports competitions, from football matches of Premier League and FA Cup, to ski, handball and snooker, through UPC TV packages.

    Starting January 17, as a first in Romania, Eurosport 4K channel will be launched in UPC digital grid, thus offering users an enhanced experience, due to the Ultra HD resolution. For the moment, the new channel will be available for users in Bucharest and it will gradually be included in the digital grids of UPC subscribers nationwide.
