    Accenture acquires Symcom cyber security division from Broadcom

    Accenture has announced that it will acquire the Symantec Cyber ​​Security division of Broadcom. The financial details have not been made public.

    Accenture Security will thus become one of the most important security service providers, improving its ability to help companies anticipate, detect and respond quickly to cyber threats.

    Symantec’s portfolio of cyber security services includes global threat monitoring and analysis through a network of security operations centers, real-time threat information services and industry-specific incident response.

    The six security operations centers are located in the US, UK, India, Australia, Singapore and Japan. The security services activity is supported by its own cloud platform that offers a constant flow of information about technical and cyber threats through a customizable portal.

    The completion of the acquisition is subject to conditions and is expected to be completed in March 2020.
