Ministry of Education signs “Pact for Entrepreneurship Education” with CONAF and FPPG

    Published on

Ministry of Education (MEC), National Women’s Entrepreneurship Confederation (CONAF) and the Oil and Gas Employers’ Federation (FPPG) signed the “Pact for Entrepreneurship Education”. Following this agreement, young people will be supported to develop entrepreneurial skills through new and creative ways of teaching and learning.

This partnership agreement commits the signatories to work actively with representatives of MEC, together with other partners will join this initiative, to create the National Strategy for Entrepreneurship Education.

Minister Monica Anisie says that she wants students to have the opportunity to explore the experience of being an entrepreneur during school, and how they can develop a start-up in a competitive society.

Cristina Chiriac, President CONAF, considers that entrepreneurship education should be a priority in Romanian schools: Romania is among the few European countries that do not yet have a national strategy for entrepreneurship education. And yet,  together with the Ministry of Education and Research and the Oil and Gas Employers’ Federation we make a big step in that direction.

Franck Neel, President FPPG believes that “entrepreneurship education is a priority in ensuring an education adapted to the economic needs and European values in the context of globalization and digitization worldwide.”
