    Published on

Niculae Havrileţ was appointed Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Business Environment, starting from December 6, according to the decision of Prime Minister Ludovic Orban.

Former president of the National Energy Regulatory Authority, former adviser to the former ALDE Minister of Energy, Anton Anton, Havrileţ has been proposed since November to be state secretary in the new Ministry, and to coordinate the energy sector. But the decision was not formalized until now.

At the time the appointment was announced, Havrileţ was an advisor to the Minister of Economy and Energy, Virgil Popescu, and administrator at Romgaz and Electrica.
