Sameday opens new logistics center following 20 million euro investment

Sameday, one of the biggest players in the local courier market, inaugurates its new logistics center, located near the city of Chitila, following a total investment of 20 million Euro. The logistics center covers an area of 22,000 sqm and has state-of-the-art technologies that shorten up to three times the sorting times of shipments, thus streamlining the processing and shipping flows of packages.

The new logistics center will handle 80 percent of the total volume of the company’s shipments at national level. Located on a 100,000 sqm land plot, Sameday’s new logistics center has 106 loading or unloading ramps. The logistics space is divided into three areas: one dedicated to large packages, an area for small packages, medium and envelopes, but also modern spaces for employees.

The logistics center is equipped with two automatic sorting strips that can process together up to 25,000 packages per hour.
