    AFEER officially launched AFEER Academy

    AFEER (Electricity Suppliers Association) officially launched AFEER Academy – Basic and advanced courses on the energy sector and supply and trading activity.

    “We officially launch AFEER Academy, but the project is already operational and is announced to be a success, given the great interest shown for the first two series of courses that have taken place. A total of 42 people graduated the courses and were certified as having basic knowledge regarding the electricity sector. Other series of courses have been scheduled, new registrations are being made,” said Ion Lungu, AFEER President.

    Following the participation in the AFEER Academy, as well as the exams, the students will obtain diplomas that will certify them obtaining basic competences regarding Electricity Value Chain (generation – transport – distribution – supply – consumption).

    Participants in the courses will also have knowledge about electricity (electricity, voltage, power, active energy, reactive energy, voltage levels, single / three-phase systems, import, export, notifications, aggregations, etc.), about energy balance. (production, consumption, frequency), about the institutions in the field and their role (ANRE, OMEPA, OPCOM, ACER).
