    Eric Stab, CEO of Engie Romania, is the new president of the Federation of Associations of Energy Utility Companies – ACUE

    Following management changes in the member companies, the Federation of Associations of Energy Utility Companies – ACUE has chosen a new leadership.

    On the 9th of October 2019, Eric Stab, Chairman & CEO of ENGIE Romania, was elected President of the Federation, and Ondrej Safar, CEO of CEZ Romania, as Vice-President. Eric Stab has been in Romania for 10 years and has chaired, for two terms, the Foreign Investors Council, in which he is currently Vice-President, and is also a member of the Steering Committee of the Coalition for the Development of Romania.

    The members of ACUE’s Board thanked Frank Hajdinjak for his activity in the leadership of the federation in the last 10 years, when ACUE became an important, transparent and reliable partner for the authorities in the construction of a modern legislative framework for the energy sector, in the spirit of the organization’s objective to contribute to ensuring a predictable and stable business environment for all operators in the market and to promote fair competition.
