Anca Dragu, E.ON Romania: The process of liberalizing the gas market is absolutely necessary

    Published on

The gas market has suffered in the last nine months due to GEO 114, according to Anca Dragu, Deputy General Manager of E.ON Romania.

“No one is happy with this emergency ordinance,” she said at a roundtable organized by Financial Intelligence. “The first reason for dissatisfaction is the lack of predictability, and all are affected: producers, suppliers, distributors and consumers. Each makes an investment plan according to the rules of the game, and changing the rules affects the market.”

“The process of liberalizing the gas market is absolutely necessary. The lack of predictability does not allow investments in this area to increase domestic production,” she concluded.
