Digitalization is the gateway through which a company can reach efficient processes, an operational model that responds to the needs of customers and to lower the electricity bill, according to Doina Vornicu, Chief Operating Officer at CEZ Romania.

“We are preparing the network to be able to absorb distributed generation, to be able to receive the prosumes in the process of electricity distribution. We reduce losses and try to communicate as quickly as possible with our clients,” she said.

According to Vornicu, the Distributie Oltenia team has been working for several years and is preparing projects for the absorption of European funds: “We already have approved projects of 40 million euros, projects for digitization.”
