STRABAG Romania announces the commissioning of a new asphalt mixing plant in Avrig, Sibiu County, an investment that strengthens the company’s capacity to support major infrastructure projects in central Romania.

The investment responds to the growing demand for infrastructure development in central Romania.

The new asphalt mixing plant in Avrig is designed to supply high-quality asphalt mixes, operating efficiently and in strict compliance with the environmental requirements applicable in Romania and the European Union.

The AMMANN-type asphalt mixing plant has a designed production capacity of 150 tonnes per hour and is designed to handle an estimated annual volume of 220,000 tonnes of asphalt mixes.
