Global Vision acquires two office properties in Bucharest’s Dorobanți – Primăverii area, the former Alpha Bank headquarters, in a share-deal transaction in which Colliers represented the seller.
The buildings located at 237 Calea Dorobanți were developed by Neocity Group in two phases, in 2001 and 2004, and are among the first modern office buildings in central Bucharest, in the immediate vicinity of Romanian Television and Aviatorilor metro station. The buildings have a total built area of approximately 10,000 square metres and, until recently, served as Alpha Bank’s headquarters.
Colliers represented the sellers, a group of Irish investors, throughout the entire sales process, from preparing the transaction and marketing the property to identifying the buyer and completing the deal. Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații, together with ZRP, provided legal advice to the sellers on the transaction.
Through this acquisition, Global Vision is expanding its Bucharest office portfolio, following the acquisition in 2022 of Nova Building in the Dimitrie Pompeiu area, subsequently renamed Corner Office Building. For that project, the company announced total investments of more than 12 million euros, including refurbishment and sustainability solutions, in line with its strategy of developing and managing modern and efficient business spaces.
Global Vision, founded two decades ago, is one of the leading real estate investment and development platforms in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe. In 2026, the company is targeting an investment pipeline of more than 150 million euros across the office, retail, industrial and data centre segments, continuing its strategy of expanding its portfolio towards a cumulative value of more than 1 billion euros. Building on its in-house expertise in development, construction and asset management, Global Vision focuses on creating long-term value through strategic investments and disciplined capital allocation, while also integrating artificial intelligence-based solutions and green energy initiatives.
“This acquisition reflects Global Vision’s strategic investment approach, similar to our previous projects, Brătianu Business Center and Corner Office Building, which focused on reintegrating strategically located assets into the city’s commercial landscape. The property’s location and significant scale, combined with our expertise as investors, developers and asset managers, put us in a strong position to enhance its value and impact on Bucharest’s business environment. Investing in the right location is at the core of our philosophy, while our commitment to quality and innovation sets us apart in the rapidly evolving real estate market”, says Sorin Preda, CEO and Founder of Global Vision.
