Adrem signs agreement to acquire majority stake in Electroechipament Industrial Group

    Published on

Adrem Group and Electroechipament Industrial (EEI) Group have announced the signing of an agreement under which Adrem intends to acquire a majority stake in EEI Group, a Romanian entrepreneurial company operating in the energy sector.

The completion of the transaction is subject to obtaining all required regulatory approvals, including clearance from the Romanian Competition Council and the Commission for the Examination of Foreign Direct Investments.

Until all necessary approvals have been obtained and the transaction has been legally completed, Adrem Group and EEI Group will continue to operate as fully independent businesses, in full compliance with applicable competition regulations.

The signing of the agreement marks the beginning of a new chapter for two organizations built on shared values: entrepreneurship, responsibility, professionalism, and long-term development. Founded and developed by Romanian entrepreneurs, EEI Group has established a strong market reputation through its technical expertise, trusted client relationships, and experienced team.

The founders and the current management team will remain actively involved in the company’s operations following the completion of the transaction, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity for employees, customers, and business partners.

“We are honored by the trust that EEI’s founders have placed in us through this decision. For us, this proposed transaction is not simply about expanding our business; it is about continuing a successful entrepreneurial story and creating the opportunity to build the next stage of growth together. We believe that strong organizations are built around people and shared values, and these principles will form the foundation of this partnership,” said Corneliu Bodea, CEO of Adrem.

In the coming period, both companies will continue to operate independently, and relationships with employees, customers, and partners will continue as usual. The immediate priority for both organizations is to fulfill the conditions required to complete the transaction. Once all regulatory approvals have been secured and the transaction has closed, the focus will shift to ensuring a predictable and responsible integration that preserves the strengths that have made EEI successful while creating new opportunities for future growth.
