    Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest 2026: international leaders, emerging technologies and digital policies, gathered at the Palace of Parliament

    The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest organizes, between March 10–12, 2026, Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest 2026 (DISB 2026), an international event dedicated to digital transformation, which will take place at the Palace of Parliament, in Bucharest.

    Held under the High Patronage of the President of the Chamber of Deputies and the Government of Romania, DISB 2026 brings together decision-makers, international experts, representatives of academia, industry and public administration, to debate the most relevant topics of the digital present and future.

    The summit integrates a series of conferences with a tradition at national and international level:

    • Critical Infrastructure Protection Forum (CIP Forum) –the 9th edition, focused on dual-use technologies and artificial intelligence;
    • International Conference on Cyber ​​Diplomacy (ICCD) – 5th edition;
    • Blockchain Intelligence Forum – 2nd edition;
    • International Conference on Virtual Learning (ICVL) – 21st edition;
    • National Conference on Virtual Education (CNIV) – 24th edition.

    The DISB 2026 agenda will address topics such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, blockchain, digital governance, digital education and international cooperation in the field of emerging technologies.

    “Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest 2026 is more than an event – ​​it is a platform for international dialogue and cooperation. We aim to bring together visions, expertise and concrete solutions to strengthen digital resilience and harness emerging technologies for the benefit of society and the economy. ICI Bucharest thus contributes to supporting digital transformation at national and European level”, said Dr. Eng. Adrian Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest.

    In addition to the official sessions, DISB 2026 offers participants extensive networking opportunities, facilitating dialogue between diplomats, opinion leaders, researchers and representatives of the private sector, in a framework dedicated to collaboration and exchange of ideas.
