Romanian software company OVES Enterprise to invest 3 million Euro in R&D in 2025

    Published on

OVES Enterprise, a Romanian software development company specializing in complex software solutions and AI innovations for the aerospace, defense, and cybersecurity industries, announces a 3 million Euro budget for investments in 2025, supporting the company’s accelerated growth with a focus on research and development

A large amount will be allocated to enhancing Nemesis AI, an artificial intelligence platform playing a critical role in structuring, labeling, and preparing data from conflict zones, which are subsequently used to train and deploy AI models in complex systems such as autonomous drones and aircraft.

“Nemesis AI is an example of how innovation can transform strategic industries. Our platform plays a vital role in processing and analyzing complex data from critical areas, such as conflict zones, contributing to the advancement of autonomous technologies like drones and smart aircraft. However, we are far from reaching the full potential of this product, which is why we plan to invest heavily in 2025 to improve its functionalities and develop new modules tailored to government institutions and international organizations”, said Mihai Filip, CEO of OVES Enterprise.

In addition to internal investments, OVES Enterprise is exploring external funding opportunities to sustain its accelerated development pace. The company is targeting collaborations with investment funds specializing in military and technological industries or private investors who understand the needs of this sector.

“Developing technologies that address global challenges requires significant budgets. While we allocate considerable resources, an external partner would enable us to accelerate development and bring revolutionary products to market. We already have seven products in various stages of development, and in 2025, we aim to transform these ideas into fully-fledged complete solutions with immediate applicability”, emphasized Mihai Filip.

For 2025, global expansion remains a priority, with OVES Enterprise planning to open new offices in strategic regions. Markets in the US and UK continue to be the main revenue sources, generating the largest share of the company’s estimated turnover.

Simultaneously, the company will continue investing in attracting and training specialists in artificial intelligence, robotics, and aerospace engineering.

OVES Enterprise is a Romanian software development company with expertise in creating complex software solutions and AI innovations for aerospace, defense, and cybersecurity industries, founded in 2015 in Cluj-Napoca. OVES Enterprise currently has over 200 employees and offices in Romania, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Norway.
