VGP expands the logistics park in Timișoara with a new building

    Published on

VGP, a European provider of logistics spaces and semi-industrial real estate, marks a new stage in the development of VGP Park Timișoara by expanding the logistics park, with the construction of the eighth building.

With a leasable area of 32,768 sqm, of which 11,575 sqm are still available, this new building offers adaptable and efficient spaces to meet the diverse needs of clients.

The new building is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including an air heatpump system, and will be certified as BREEAM Excellent. To improve operational efficiency, the building includes level difference loading ramps and drive-ins, facilitating the handling and transportation of goods. Advanced LED lighting ensures optimal lighting and significant savings on energy costs. Smart metering allows efficient monitoring and management of energy consumption, and the robust and resistant industrial flooring copes with the most intense demands. Additionally, the building offers the possibility of adding photovoltaic panels, enabling the generation of green energy directly at the point of consumption.

All VGP buildings are certified according to BREEAM or DGNB standards, reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainable development and the creation of logistics and industrial spaces with minimal impact on the environment. For all of its new buildings, VGP aims for an “Excellent” classification level.

VGP Park Timișoara is a premier logistics and industrial hub, positioned near Timișoara International Airport. The park already has seven completed buildings and is hosting clients across diverse sectors including transportation, logistics, courier services, automotive manufacturing, and electronics. VGP Park Timisoara spans a land area of 349,098 sqm, offers a leasable area of 178,861 sqm, and has 15,383 sqm currently available for new tenants.
